Intolerance affects us all at some point in our lives — some more than others. So what do we do when someone else is being intolerant? Should we speak up or let it slide?

The Joint Working Group (JWG) between the Roman Catholic Church (RCC) and the World Council of Churches (WCC) held its annual meeting in Cordoba, Spain, 12-19 October 2009. It concentrated its work on Spiritual Roots of Ecumenism, and on how to ensure that ecumenical achievements of many years are properly received by the churches (Reception).

Last night the youth took over the stage of the UAICC national conference for the Youth Rally. On the theme of ‘Transformation,’ members of youth at the conference shared their emotional stories of transformation within their own lives, amongst all the singing and praising God.
On day three of the Uniting Aboriginal and Islander Christian Congress (UAICC) National Conference, the youth were preparing for the study sessions which will be held next week, on the theme of ‘Nehemiah’.
It seems Busselton’s reputation for being a sleepy retirement town is being turned on its head, as more and more people make the move to Busselton to raise their young families. One of its newest residents is Rev Brenton Prigge, who has come fresh from South Africa to Busselton Uniting Church as WA’s first rural First Third specialist.
